Does anyone know if the new Embassy here will start dealing with passport renewals? If so, any idea when?

I think the NZ government has centralized the issuing of passports ... so as far as I know the Embassy in Stockholm will not issue passports ... Only the Passport Offices in London, Sydney or New Zealand can issue a passport. In an emergency, a New Zealand Embassy overseas may be able to issue an Emergency Travel Document. http://www.safetravel.govt.nz/passportvisa/passvisa.shtml Simon

Yeah that's about all I could dig up online too. Shame really. Still, a good excuse for a trip back to England

Hi Roz. No we do not issue passports or Emergency Travel Documents (ETDs). We will be issuing ETDs once we are in a permanent, secure office. You can download PP applications from www.dia.govt.nz. All the relevant contact details are also there. The embassy email (temporary) is nzemb.skm@gmail.com. This will change when we move next year. Cheers PG
